- in on-board devices of parameters registration intended for
automatic flight data recording (altitude, flight speed, aircraft
engines rotation speed, angle of attack, acceleration factor) and
parameters of the most important aggregates and systems
- in ground systems for aircrafts telemetry data recording and its
further processing, for recording encoded information in the data
systems storage devices.

multi-track impulse signals with density up to 1300 p.p/mm as a part
of precise magnetic recording equipment. Environmental conditions
(from -60С to +60С), mechanical conditions (buffing load: impact
frequency not more than 80 min-1 and acceleration factor not more than
117.6m\s2, vibration load in the frequency range not more than 300 Hz).
Are produced on the basis of gamma iron oxide. Comply with the
requirements of TS 6-17-1308-85 , GOST 22507-77.

Magnetic tapes
During long time Astrum LLC produce
qualitative magnetic tapes with different technical characteristics.
These magnetic tapes are used for everyday video- and audio recording
and in scientific or aviation brunches as well. In aviation they are
really necessary for flight data recording and they are placed in the
airborne recorders.
The magnetic tapes are produced on the
magnetic lacquer basis with the use of gamma iron oxide and substance
on the polyurethanes basis. They are distinguished on the roll and
cartridge tapes. The roll magnetic tapes, wounded in rolls of different
diameter, as a rule are used in the reel recorders. These tapes are
used for everyday recording and marked by “B” letter. The cartridge
magnetic tapes are the part of audio cassettes and are used for
cassette recorders. Industrial magnetic types with higher technical
characteristics are used in the computer science industry. As a rule
such tapes are marked by “V” letter. Such magnetic tapes as V4618,
V4617, and V4407 are related to them.
Astrum LLC produces also the magnetic tapes with the black silver layer which are used in different brunches.
